LED Drum Show: Light-Up Drums and LED Costumes for Your Event

An LED drum show is a performance in which every hit is seen as clearly as it is heard: light-up drums flash in rhythm, the artists' costumes change colour and pattern, and the hall goes dark so that nothing distracts. RhythmMen develops the LED format as a distinct line of its shows and performs it at corporate events, product launches, weddings, festivals and sporting events in Kyiv, across Ukraine and abroad.

What an LED drum show is

It is a classic drum production with three layers of light added. LED drums are instruments with illuminated heads and rims that respond to each hit. LED costumes are stage outfits with built-in light lines that run in sync with the music and are controlled by software. Stage effects — where needed we add laser-show elements, fire and smoke so that the act reads even from the back rows of a large hall or a stadium.

The result is what glowing drums give that an ordinary show cannot: a striking picture for photo and video, a clear visual accent for brand colours and the full wow effect the moment the lights go out.

How the performance runs

1. Blackout. By arrangement with the venue the hall goes dark for 3–5 seconds — the strongest moment of anticipation.
2. Opening. The artists come out in LED costumes, the first drums light up, and the rhythm builds to a synchronised hit from the whole team.
3. Main part (7–20 minutes). Several pieces with different dynamics and colour scenes; the lighting is programmed for each track and, if required, for the brand's colours or the wedding's palette.
4. Climax. A combination of LED, laser beams and, where the venue allows, fire elements. Or a transition into Drum-DJ — live drums over an electronic set that opens the dancing.

Where an LED drum show works best

• Corporate events and presentations. Product launches in particular: the logo or the key brand colour appears in the light of the drums at exactly the right second. More on our corporate drum show page.
• Weddings. The evening part after sunset; the newlyweds can be the soloists in the LED act, just as in our classic wedding programme.
• Sport and mass events. Match openings, half-time, festival stages — the LED format reads from any stand in a stadium.
• Fashion shows and promo. The light graphics adapt easily to the concept of a collection or a campaign.

What the venue needs

An LED show for an event looks best in a hall where the lights can be dimmed or switched off entirely for the duration of the act. For outdoor events we perform after dark. Sound and a basic stage are standard; the full list is in the technical rider. Fire and laser elements are cleared separately with the venue management and safety services — we handle that.
