Wedding Drum Show in Kyiv and across Ukraine

A wedding drum show is an act in which the newlyweds become the soloists and the guests become the orchestra. RhythmMen has played weddings since 2008, and in that time we have refined the format down to the details: a 30-minute programme with two interactive blocks that fits any running order of the evening and asks no musical preparation of the couple.

How a drum show differs from other wedding acts

Most wedding performers play for the guests. A wedding drum show works differently: it involves them. Rhythm needs no knowledge of a language or the words of a song, so it grips the bride's grandmother, the groom's friends from abroad and the children in equal measure. After the act the room is already warmed up, and the dancing starts without a slow build.

We are not limited to one sound. A classic wedding at a country estate suits a traditional drum show; a Latin-themed party calls for ethno-percussion with Afro-Cuban and Brazilian rhythms; a modern loft works with Drum-DJ; and for the evening part after sunset there is our LED show with light-up drums.

How the wedding show runs

Our core wedding programme lasts 30 minutes and consists of three parts:

1. Opening (5–7 minutes). A powerful staged drum act that gathers the attention of every guest — including those still out on the terrace.
2. First interactive block: the newlyweds as soloists. We invite the couple on stage, show them a few simple strokes in two minutes, and from there the newlyweds lead the rhythm while we back them. It looks as though they rehearsed for weeks. This block often becomes the most emotional part of the wedding video.
3. Second interactive block: accompaniment with the guests. We hand out percussion to guests at their tables or on the dance floor and play one piece together. Anywhere from 20 to several hundred people take part.

On request we add a surprise: we prepare the witnesses, parents or friends of the couple in advance for a separate act that the newlyweds see for the first time at the celebration.

How to book a wedding drum show

Send us the date, the venue and the approximate number of guests. The cost depends on the length of the programme, the number of artists, the format (classic, ethno, LED, Drum-DJ) and the distance to the venue; we send a specific proposal within a day.
